After The Season

‘Photography is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you, the less you know’.
– Diane Arbus

‘After the season’ is a result of many walks along the Polish coast. It documents the after-season world of Baltic beaches when the vibrant summer is only a distant memory.

In this world strange objects-signs sometimes emerge, reminding of human presence, but people themselves rarely pass by. Even if they do, their presence is phantom-like, silent yet intensive. Desolate beaches are full of strange, uncanny atmosphere. There is something in the air and no one knows what is about to happen.

Or maybe it has happened already.
